2024 Library Programs
Story Time:
Every Thursday morning September - April @ 10:15 am. We read stories, create a hands-on craft, eat snacks, and have open play with the various toys at the library! This is a perfect time to get you and your young one(s) into the library.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten:
The Ceresco Library is now offering a free 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program to all families with a child. This program is designed to promote childhood literacy and helps you build a bond with your child through storytelling. We are here to celebrate your child’s reading milestones and have books or prizes for the different reading goals they’ll meet.
Summer Reading Program “Adventure is at your Library”:
We offer two K-5th Summer Reading Camp sessions throughout the month of June. Each session is limited to 25 kids and runs for two weeks in June from 10:00 - 11:50 Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We have raffle prizes, arts & crafts, eat sweet treats, and of course read some great books. Check in at the library mid-April to sign your child up!
Summer Reading Program 2024 Dates
Session 1: 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th, 12th, and our celebration party on the 13th at the Ceresco Park
Session 2: 18th, 19th, 20th, 25th, 26th, and our celebration party on the 27th at the Ceresco Park
**We also accept Volunteers during the Summer Reading Program who are interested in helping out. Ask the librarian or email us for more details!
Teen Book Club:
We are currently considering offering a Teen Book Club at the Ceresco Library, starting at the end of May. If you or someone you know is interested in joining contact the Librarian for more information or grab a sign-up sheet from our Facebook / Instagram page!
Fiction Addiction Book Club:
Our Book Club meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 pm at the library! We read just about anything and are always on the lookout for new members.
